Apply for an Appraiser Temporary Permit - Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and Home Inspectors

Do you have multiple assignments in Maryland in the next few years? Consider applying online for a reciprocal license. It's a quick application and processing usually only takes a few business days.

After completing the application, mail it along with the required $75 fee to:

Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and Home Inspectors
100 S. Charles Street, Tower 1
Baltimore, MD 21201

The term of the temporary permit for a real estate appraiser is set by the Commission for a period of six months. The permit may be extended upon receipt of a written explanation of your inability to complete the assignment within the terms of the permit and a new projected date on which you believe the assignment will be completed.
