RCR 26-016 April 9, 2026
Driver William Long is fined $100.00 for one-handed whipping in the stretch while driving TOUGH OLD HICKORY in the 3rdrace on April 6th 2026, at Rosecroft Raceway. All fines must be paid within ten (10) days of the ruling; failure to pay will result in the suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee until payment is received. COMAR: 09.10.02.33H(17)

RCR 26-017 April 9, 2026
Driver Bryson Dunning is fined $100.00 for using exaggerated whipping motions before and after the ¾ pole and in the stretch while driving BEREAVED HANOVER in the 10th race on April 6th, 2026, at Rosecroft Raceway. The violation includes failure to restrict whipping movements to wrist action with minimal elbow movement, and raising the whipping arm above shoulder height. All fines must be paid within ten (10) days of the ruling; failure to pay will result in the suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee until payment is received. RCR 26-018 April 18, 2026
Maryland Racing Commission licensee Anthony Raimondo was observed to be intoxicated in the paddock area at Rosecroft Raceway on April 13th, 2026. After taking a breathalyzer test, Mr. Raimondo’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeded the limit permitted under Maryland Racing Commission regulations. Consequently, Mr. Raimondo is hereby assessed a fine of $250.00. All fines must be paid within ten (10) days of the ruling; failure to pay will result in the suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee until payment is received. COMAR: 09.10.02.41.I(1)
