June 14, 2026 Ocean Downs Ruling: OD 26-002
Driver Bryson Dunning is suspended from driving for three (3) days (June 12, 2026 through and including June 14, 2026) for whipping ILLUSTRIOUSARDEN N while out of racing contention in the 9th race on June 10, 2026 at Ocean Downs. COMAR: 09.10.02.33.A(9)(a)

June 17, 2026 Ocean Downs Ruling: OD 26-003
Driver Jacob Roglitz is hereby assessed a fine of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for failing to keep both feet in the stirrups in the stretch while driving LMC MASS GEM in the fourth race on June 15, 2026, at Ocean Downs, in violation of COMAR 09.10.02.33H(6). The fine assessed must be paid within ten (10) days of the issuance of this ruling. Failure to submit payment within this period shall result in the full suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee and will remain in effect until full payment is received.

June 17, 2026 Ocean Downs Ruling: OD 26-004
Trainer Mackenzie Kiel is hereby assessed a fine of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for making a late driver change on the June 15, 2026 racing program at Ocean Downs, in violation of COMAR 09.10.02.41C. The fine assessed must be paid within ten (10) days of the issuance of this ruling. Failure to submit payment within this period shall result in the full suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee and will remain in effect until full payment is received.

June 21, 2026 Ocean Downs Ruling: OD 26-005
Driver Shane Griffith is hereby assessed a fine of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for causing interference after the start. While driving #4 SWEET GIGGLES in the first race on June 17, 2026, at Ocean Downs, SWEET GIGGLES bore out and interfered with #5 I’M FEELING SPICY, in violation of COMAR 09.10.02.33.H(a). SWEET GIGGLES was disqualified from first and placed second. The fine assessed must be paid within ten (10) days of the issuance of this ruling. Failure to submit payment within this period shall result in the full suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee and will remain in effect until full payment is received.

June 29, 2026 Ocean Downs Ruling: OD 26-006
Trainer Jamie Bozman was randomly selected for breathalyzer testing on June 28, 2026 at Ocean Downs. After taking an initial breathalyzer test and a second confirmatory test, both results showed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) that exceeded the limit permitted under Maryland Racing Commission regulations, in violation of COMAR 09.10.03.06(1). Consequently, Ms. Bozman is hereby assessed a fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). The fine assessed must be paid within ten (10) days of the issuance of this ruling. Failure to submit payment within this period shall result in the full suspension of the Maryland Racing Commission licensee and will remain in effect until full payment is received.
