The Maryland Department of Labor is proud to present the 4th & Goal Program, an initiative designed to support learners who have completed three GED® tests with only one more to go on the way to a Maryland High School Diploma. Specifically, 4th and Goal offers short-term assistance for classes and tutoring and for covering the costs of practice tests and the fourth and final exam. If you have passed three of your four GED® tests and need assistance with the costs of practice tests and exam fees, apply today!

NEED A CLASS FIRST? FIND YOUR NEAREST ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM
ATTENTION ADULT EDUCATION PROVIDERS!
Adult education programs with a demonstrated history of successfully serving adult learners, particularly those who face challenges to success, are encouraged to apply for funding awards of up to $25,000. Grants are available for existing adult education programs seeking to expand course offerings to serve 4th & Goal learners. Examples of acceptable projects include tutoring, classes, and online programs that strengthen participants’ knowledge of the material on the GED® test.
